Hexham Artist Spotlight | This Month's Featured Local Artist

This month, Hexham Focus is spotlighting local artist Emma Winterschladen, an artist, illustrator and writer who lives in Hexham and draws her inspiration from the town she calls home.

Her illustrated print of Hexham, currently on display at the Little Spectacle Shop, is a colourful tribute to the town's most loved places and everyday details, including Hexham Abbey, Queen's Hall, the surrounding Tyne Valley landscape, The Garden Coffee House and the Hexham Sweetie Jar. Part love letter, part portrait of a place, it captures the charm, character and community spirit of Hexham.

Each print is hand-signed and dated by Emma, and printed locally in the North East on premium 310gsm museum-grade Hahnemühle German Etching paper. Prints are available in A5, A4 or A3.

You can see more of Emma's work on her website or in her Etsy shop.
